“Every year in Australia there are workplace deaths and injuries involving forklifts,” says Steve Takacs, President of the AFITA National Council. These incidents have a huge financial and social impact on workers, families, businesses and the community.

“That’s why it’s important that every business has an individual who is responsible for driving its forklift safety culture.

“If you are the person responsible for forklift safety within your business, we invite you to attend our 2024 Forklift Safety Seminars and we hope to see you at the AFITA stand at the WHS Show”.

“These seminars ensure you are kept up to date with the latest forklift safety standards, guidelines, training and technology”
